It's a shiny new year with shiny new resolutions.  And because you asked for it, EcoShine has some shiny new things to keep you shiny this year.

Over the holidays we asked you what EcoShine could do to improve.  After sorting through every single one of your notes and suggestions, we got to work on implementing your most popular thoughts immediately!

What's New at EcoShine?

1. Website

A new website was by far the most popular suggestion.  We followed up on your suggestions and you're now viewing the new cyber-home of EcoShine Mobile Detailing!  You asked for a clean, simple, and easy to navigate site with various different features.  Feel free to let us know what you think!

2. Blog

You wanted a blog full of information, interviews, relative local deals, and more.  We're proud to announce you're reading it!  Over the coming months you will be able to find some great DIY and how-to posts.  In addition to the information and educational posts, you will find interviews with various members of our local communities, product information, company and community updates, local event notifications, detailing deals, and much more.

3. Be Social

You wanted us to be more social and connect with you on your favorite social media outlets.  Well, we're going social!  All day, every day, from now on, you will be able to post, share, comment, and catch us on various social outlets, including: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Flickr, YouTube, Vimeo and many more.  We're still creating, adjusting, and experimenting though, so please be patient with us while we work our way into the social sphere.

4. Easier Scheduling

You wanted an easier way for you, your family, friends, and co-workers to schedule appointments.  In response, we have incorporated Bookings by BookFresh into the contact page.  You can now check the contact page and glimpse the days and times we are free.  And, of course, you can always call or email us to set up an appointment as usual.

5. New Services

You've asked for an array of new services and we have chosen a select few for trial runs.  Among those services that we will be implementing throughout the year are: OBD II readings, headlight restorations, fluid checks, tire checks, windshield wiper changes, and more.  Some of these services will be free.  Some will have an added cost.  Not all of these services will be available immediately.  And many of these services may be discontinued if they prove to be ineffective or disruptive to our business model.

6. Events

As most of you, our loyal monthly customers, are professionals in various fields and caring members of your community, it is understandable that one of the most popular requests was for EcoShine to host professional networking, charitable, and community events.  As such, we will begin to plan events at different times of the year.  Some ideas we are tossing around are: automobile shows, community clean-ups, group outings, professional networking meetings, and fundraising events for local schools, charities, and causes.

Thank You for 2013

Recycling the old and ushering in the new!  2014 is the beginning of a new era!  We hope you're as excited as we are to move forward with a smile and a shine!

Hey Big Homie!

Great question!

I think we should answer this question with a blog post, so check back with us tomorrow morning for a new post with more information! For now, I would suggest removing the sand/salt from the vehicle ASAP. After the grime and salt/sand/de-icer are off your car's paint, I would, at the very least, apply wax to protect it from further damage due to the remaining salt/sand/de-icer left on the roads.

We'll have some more info in our blog post.

Thank you for the question!
